Lenawee Conservation District Board Seat Vacancy

There is one seat on the Lenawee Conservation District Board of Directors up for election in January of 2020. Candidates have until 4:30 p.m. on Friday, November 15, 2019 to file nominating petitions.

The board meets the third Monday of each month to discuss conservation priorities, programs, and funding for landowners to implement best practices.

Nominating petitions require signatures of five people. Forms are available at the District office, 1100 Sutton Road, Adrian, or by calling 517-263-7400, Ext. 5576. The election will be conducted during the District’s Annual Meeting on January 16, 2020. Absentee ballots will be available December 1, 2019 at the District office.

Crop Day for Center for Excellence

Location: The Centre, 1800 West US 223 in Adrian, Michigan.

This follow-up to the field day will bring demonstration plot yield information, as well as a variety of speakers to the agricultural community. RSVPs are requested.
